Caught in the Trees

There are levels to missing

There's where you just want to be in their company

Then there's where you just want to talk to them

Then there's where you want to cuddle them

and push your face in their body

Then there's where all you can think about is them

What they are doing

Do they miss you too?

Do they even know your gone?

But you'll never know the answer

Because they're a dog, and dogs can't reply.
